The In Memory of Nick Heald golf tournament sponsored by Hilltop Slate which was to be held tomorrow, Saturday, October 30 has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 6. The tournament will start at 11am. Our course will be closed to the public on this day (Saturday, November 6) to accommodate for tournament play. Simply Grazin’ Organic Farms held a fundraiser golf tournament for one of their employees, Nick Geraghty, and his family, here at the course on Saturday, June 26, 2021. The tournament was completely full, with a total of 80 participants (two teams had to be turned away). Tragically, Nick, his fiancee Brittney, and their three young children recently lost everything they owned in a house fire. The Highlander Brewing Company of Argyle held a golf tournament at Hartford Greens Country Club on Saturday, May 22, 2021. With a 9:30am start time, a sunlight morning greeted the 27 players competing in the Highlander Brewing Co.’s fundraising effort earmarked for the Argyle Food Pantry. In addition to hosting the event, Hartford Greens Country Club offered prizes, held a 50/50 raffle and offered the second half of the 50/50 to the benefit. On Friday, May 14th, Chapter 80 of the Bowling Club of America will hold their 700 Club golf outing at Hartford Greens Country Club. The event will be a shotgun start format, two man scramble, starting at 9:30 a.m. $50 per person includes lunch at Johnson’s Cabin Grill, located at 7956 State Route 40, Hartford, NY. This is the 12th year chairman Mike LaPointe has organized the event, drawing golfers from throughout New York State and as far away as Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.
