Online customer reviews have seemingly taken over the old word of mouth recommendations of the past. So, we’d like to give a big THANK YOU to our patrons who have taken the time to give us a rating and review on Google. Your review is helping other golfers decide whether or not to come play their next round on our course.
According to Invesp, 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business. And 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations. The same is true for golf courses as proven in 2016 when Golf Shake conducted a survey, in which 80% of respondents stated that online reviews helped them decide whether to play a new course.
We also greatly appreciated your feedback, because it lets us know what your thoughts are- where you feel we are doing well and where you feel we can improve. As new owners, this information is priceless.
There are three primary reasons that golfers write reviews. These are:
- To share an experience (good or bad)
- Assisting fellow golfers in making a better (buying) decision
- To reward a golf club for a good performance
There are of course many more great reasons to write reviews, even if it’s just for yourself.
