Nipper Knolls held a fundraiser golf tournament at Hartford Greens Country Club on Saturday, August 7th. The tournament was headed by Roxanne Peck and she worked closely with the course staff to ensure a smooth day of golf for all.

For those unfamiliar with Nipper Knolls Equine Center and their mission, they are a 501c3 located in Granville, NY and they promote the benefits of Equine Assisted Services (EAS), provide the facility, equipment, horses and support personnel required to perform EAS and provide assistance for retraining of abused/neglected horses and integrate into the EAS whenever possible. They are also home to the Alfred Z. Solomon’s Veterans Program- a free 8-week program for veterans in a one-to-one setting.

The tournament had 20 teams participate and went off without a hitch. The top teams were:

• 1st Place- Team Taylor Made
• 2nd Place- Team Pro Force Fuel (via 3 hole tiebreaker)
• 3rd Place- Smokin’ Dans Clan
• 4th Place- Blue Ribbon (via one hold tiebreaker)
