As a reminder, the course will be closed to the public until 2pm on both days. On Friday, May 14th, Chapter 80 of the Bowling Club of America will hold their 700 Club golf outing at Hartford Greens Country Club. The event will be a shotgun start format, two man scramble, starting at 9:30 a.m. $50 per person includes lunch at Johnson’s Cabin Grill, located at 7956 State Route 40, Hartford, NY. This is the 12th year chairman Mike LaPointe has organized the event, drawing golfers from throughout New York State and as far away as Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. Wanted to give a shout out to a couple of the Hartford Greens Country Club crew members- Gary and Don for making some awesome garbage receptacles for the course. This is a picture of the large garbage receptacle, which is placed out by the parking lot. Gary and Don also built smaller ones that were put at every hole on the course. These were made from reclaimed pallets and inside they also have chlorine buckets to hold the recycling at each hole. AWESOME work fellas 👍! These sunset colors over the course are just too beautiful not to share. The forecast for this weekend is gorgeous! Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70’s and lows in the upper 50’s. Just gorgeous whether you will be out on the course early or late in the day. Plus, the fall colors are really starting to pop on the trees, so the foliage make for spectacular views and a beautiful backdrop to your golf game. Hope to see you this weekend!
