Looking for some golf balls? Stop in the Pro Shop and take a look at our “egg” cartons. We have several different options of used golf balls available.
IS A NEW GOLF BALL BETTER THAN A USED GOLF BALL?
There’s little to no difference between the performance of a new golf ball and a gently used one. Think about it this way: when you’ve used a brand new golf ball, is there a noticeable difference between the first and second time you hit it? Remember, the second you hit a new golf ball, it becomes used.
Many recycled golf balls have barely been used, so you are getting essentially new balls at a fraction of the price.
ARE RECYCLED GOLF BALLS REALLY THAT MUCH CHEAPER?
Yes! Even for used golf balls that are in mint condition (like new), you’ll be spending about half the price that you would on brand new balls.
IS IT BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT?
Yes, buying used balls is a more eco-friendly option. Golf balls are manufactured using plastics in large factory facilities. Choosing recycled golf balls means you are not contributing to the energy used and waste produced to make new balls.
ARE USED GOLF BALLS EVER WATERLOGGED?
Before the year 2000, balls included rubber cores that would become waterlogged. Since then, golf balls have been manufactured with solid plastic cores that are not affected by water. So, there is nothing to worry about!
