There are tournaments scheduled here at the course on both days this weekend: Saturday, September 11th the Whitehall Elks Lodge 1491 and Sunday, September 12th for the Hartford Volunteer Fire Company. As a reminder, the course will be closed to the public until 2pm on both days. The Sunday, September 12 tournament for the Hartford Volunteer Fire Company is full, but at last check the tournament for tomorrow, Saturday, September 11th for the Whitehall Elks Lodge 1491 still has some team openings. Hartford Greens Country Club Event Coordinator, Gary Scrime had been all set up for the band to play on our new patio; however shortly before the 6pm start of our 1st Year Anniversary Celebration cloudy skies opened up and rain ensued. Work happened quickly to get things moved around to account for the rainy weather. Tables and beverage coolers were brought under our event tent and lights were moved to the backside of our Pro Shop, so they would shine onto the lawn surrounding the tent once the sun went down. Nipper Knolls held a fundraiser golf tournament at Hartford Greens Country Club on Saturday, August 7th. The tournament was headed by Roxanne Peck and she worked closely with the course staff to ensure a smooth day of golf for all.
